GST Prospectus 2020-21
GST Admission Prospectus 2020-21 has been published. The detailed guidelines are published on the admissions website gstadmission org. The guideline mentions the details of GST admission procedure.
A total of 20 universities have been involved in the GST Admission System. This includes the General Universities and Science and Technology universities. The GST-affiliated universities are-
Students will participate in a single admission test. On the basis of the results obtained, any GST-affiliated university will have the opportunity to get admission in the relevant department.
Each student has to appear for the only one admission test related to his / her HSC / equivalent group. Interested candidates have to apply in two steps. First you have to make an preliminary application and if you are on the eligible candidates list, you have to make a final application.
The detailed guidelines specify the eligibility of the preliminary application, the application procedure and the deadline. In the GST admission prospectus, A-unit has humanities, B-unit has business studies and C-unit has science. The primary application will start on April 1 and the application can be submitted till April 15. Candidates do not have to pay any fee for preliminary application.
A short list of preliminarily applied students will be published based on the SSC / Equivalent and HSC / Equivalent examinations results. A total of One lakh 50 thousand candidates will be given the opportunity to apply in each unit finally. Only eligible candidates for final application can be applying for Final Admission form. To complete the final application form, the candidate has to pay an application fee of Tk. 500 through mobile banking.
At the time of final application, the candidate has to keep at least 5 out of 31 examination centers in the preferred list.
At the end of the admission test, the merit list will be prepared and published on the GST Admission Test website. Subsequently, each GST-listed university will issue a separate admission notice. Universities will be invited to apply with their own conditions mentioned in the admission notice. Only students participating in the GST admission test can apply. According to the GST merit order, the universities will complete the admission under their own management.
